New in v1.0.0 — Sheen + multi-fx rack redesign

Sheen is a hidden master-end polish coat pinned post-Punch. Click the brushed-brass API brand plate in the chassis header to flip into a back view with five sliders: BODY (low shelf 100 Hz), PRESENCE (peak 3 kHz), AIR (high shelf 14 kHz), WARMTH (Sonnox Inflator polynomial @ 2× oversample), WIDTH (M/S side-only with mono lows protected). Default-on at research-grounded factory tuning so the plugin sounds finished out of the box.

Multi-fx rack redesign — the seven-slot rack got a ground-up UX overhaul: native vizia drag-drop replacing the previous broken state machine, swap-or-insert hit-test (drop in left third / middle / right third), live cyan/yellow drop-position preview, floating ghost label tracking the cursor, focus mode (1..7 / Esc), library sidebar as the sole add path, and brushed-brass brand plate.

Signal Chain

API5500 EQ→ButterComp2→Pultec EQ→Dynamic EQ→Transformer→Haas→Punch→Sheen

The first seven modules are reorderable at runtime via native drag-and-drop with a live drop-position preview (cyan bar = insert; yellow ring = swap). Sheen is pinned at the master end (post-Punch, pre-master-gain) — it’s the chassis-level “polish coat” exposed via the brushed-brass brand plate. Every module is independently bypassable and fully automatable.

Modules

API5500 EQ

5-band semi-parametric EQ modeled on the API 5500 console equalizer. LF/HF shelves, and three parametric bands (LMF, MF, HMF) ordered low to high.

ButterComp2

Four compression models in one module: Classic Airwindows bipolar glue, VCA (1176-style character), Optical (program-dependent release), and FET (aggressive drive). Built-in NY parallel Mix on every model.

Pultec EQ

EQP-1A style passive equalizer with authentic LCR resonant bump, simultaneous boost/cut, and bandwidth controls. 18 dB range, 20–300 Hz LF coverage, tube saturation.

Dynamic EQ

4-band frequency-dependent dynamics with Compress, Expand, and Gate modes. Real-time spectral analyzer with GR metering. Optional sidechain masking analysis.

Transformer

Vintage/Modern/British/American transformer coloration. Structured INPUT / OUTPUT / TONE sections with independent saturation and frequency shaping at each stage.

Haas

Psychoacoustic stereo widener via M/S encoding and Haas effect comb filtering. Side Comb (mono-compatible) and Wide Comb modes. 1–20 ms Hermite delay, RMS-safe output trim.

Punch

Transparent clipper with Hard/Soft/Cubic modes, up to 8x oversampling, and pre-clip transient shaper for loudness maximization without pumping.

Sheen (pinned, master-end)

Hidden five-stage polish coat: BODY low shelf, PRESENCE peak, AIR high shelf, WARMTH (Sonnox Inflator @ 2× oversample), WIDTH M/S side-only. Default-on at research-grounded factory tuning. Click the brushed-brass brand plate to open the back view.
